Hi, my name is…

For more than a decade, I have been mainly referred to and known as “Mom.” I still am, but now with my youngest turning 4, I am also finding the freedom to get back to the passions I enjoyed pre-kids. One of my favorite passions, of course, is playing with yarn and fiber. 15 years ago I became a knitter, 14 years ago I became a spinner and 8 months ago, I purchased my first loom (a 24″ Kromski Rigid Heddle). As of February 2018, I am currently up to 5 spinning wheels (plus a mini electric one on pre-order), and 3 looms and may be bordering on a bad case of SABLE (Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy ) when it comes to yarn and fiber. It keeps me happy though, and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper (and more entertaining) than therapy! 😉
